Turn an old Android phone into a Mobile Money gateway, a phone line and an SMS sender.
A Redmi 3S with operator SIMs, exposed over HTTP. It confirms MVola, Orange Money and Airtel Money payments from their SMS, places GSM calls streamed to any web, mobile or desktop app with recording, and sends OTPs and reminders. Scaling means adding phones at 30,000 to 70,000 Ar each.
Can 32 old phones run AI?
A cluster of 32 Redmi 3S on a stripped-down ROM, close to 100 GB of RAM combined for the price of a laptop. An experiment in progress.
